"Surrender Is Not An Option"

We have been looking over the past couple of weeks on the subject of guarding certain areas of our life. This week I want to share with you that 'surrender is not an option'.  God never intended for HIS people to surrender to the enemy.  The word surrender is not even mentioned in the original Greek/Hebrew language. Why? Because God did not want us to give up to the enemy at all.  However, we find ourselves at times facing various things that tempt us to surrender. Let's look at a few things that try to cause us to surrender to the attacks of the enemy.  1) Fear: we fall prey to fear mostly due to lies that the enemy tries to fill our mind with.  2 Timothy 1:7 says, " God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind." 2) Poverty and Lack: satan will always try to make you believe that you will never be successful.  You will never have enough... you will only just get by.  Philippians 4:19 says, "My God shall supply ALL my needs according to HIS riches in glory."  3) Hatred and Anger: many times our anger and hatred is due to something that happened in our past.  Satan loves keeping these feelings stirred up in our life.  Luke 6:27-28 says, "Love your enemies and do good to them that hate you...bless those that curse you and pray for them that mistreat you."  4) Unforgiveness: unforgiveness will send many people to hell.  We all must lear to let go of past hurts, let go of past grudges and let God handle the situation.  Matthew 6:14,15 says, "... if you can not forgive others that have wronged you, then God in heaver will NOT forgive you of your sins..."  We all must be Determined, Dedicated, and Disciplined enough to stay focused on God Almighty. Hear the Word of the Lord... SURRENDER IS NOT AN OPTION...   Be Blessed, Pastor Bogey
