If you died right now do you know for sure you would go to Heaven?
We have all sinned - you, me, everyone.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23
Sin is wrong and against God!
"For the wages of sin is death."
Romans 6:23
Wages means payment. The payment for sin that we deserve to pay, is death and hell.
"But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died for our sins.
He made the payment for our sins for us.
"But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:23
Salvation (eternal life) is a free gift if we will receive
the Lord Jesus Christ into our heart, because Jesus paid for it.
We don't get saved by going to church, being baptized or trying to be good.
These are things we ought to do, but they won't save us.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved. . . .For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:9,13
We get saved from our sins and hell by believing in
the Lord Jesus Christ and calling on Him to save us.
"Whosoever" means anyone. It includes you.
Do you know you are a sinner?
Do you believe Jesus was God's Son,
that He died for your sins and rose again?
Would you like to be saved, know your sins are forgiven
and that you are going to Heaven when you die?
If you will trust Christ to save you and
take you to Heaven when you die, pray this prayer:
Dear God,
I know I am a sinner and I can't save myself, I believe Jesus died for me and rose again.
Forgive me of all my sins. Come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for you.
Amen
